1500 Sound Academy and the Music Forward Foundation are committed to supporting the professional development of young creatives and providing them with opportunities to succeed in the music industry. Together, we work to secure scholarships for students from underserved communities to ensure every student has access to music education. Additionally, 1500 Sound Academy is a training provider for the Music Forward Registered Apprenticeship which is a comprehensive program that offers apprentices the chance to learn from experienced professionals and gain valuable skills in various aspects of the music industry, including music production, engineering, songwriting, and more.
We created 1500 Sound Academy with goals of giving back to our community and empowering young, creative minds with the education necessary to help achieve their professional dreams in the music industry.
Music Forward and 1500 Sound Academy’s Educational Partnership is designed to:
- Expose students within the community to possibilities and potential careers in the entertainment industry
- Enroll in the 1500 Sound Academy Music & Industry Fundamentals 6-month Program to obtain readiness skills in audio production, engineering, songwriting, mixing, music business and artist branding
