NFL x 1500 Sound Academy
NFL Total Access Coordinating Producer, Kingsley Smith, is excited to be working with 1500 Sound Academy on reimagining NFL Films’ sound by modernizing traditional tracks to be used for teasers and specialty-themed show highlights.
SUMMARY
NFL Films has used classic tracks alongside heartful narrations and moving images as key elements to their storytelling standards. The style is defined of powerful, dramatic moods and dynamic beats for the most compelling visuals. NFL Films aren’t just seen; they’re felt.
GOAL
We want to create a 60-second track with modern beats layered on top of traditional compositions that can be broken down into multiple short tracks for bumpers, highlights, and teasers. Reimagine telling a series of smaller stories that results in a big epic story.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Submissions of original work are required to qualify.
Submissions must not contain any samples.
Submissions can only be submitted by current 1500 Sound Academy Students and/or Alumni.
Collaborations outside of the 1500 Sound Academy Students and/or Alumni will be disqualified.
BUDGET & TERMS
This will be a gratis license where the composers retain ownership and all rights to compositions. Submissions received in the provided form will be reviewed and delivered to NFL by 1500 Sound Academy.
TIMING
October 26 - Meet with 1500 Sound Academy Student / Alumni to discuss the ask
November 6 - 1500 SA Student / Alumni sample demo submission deadline
November 8 - NFL review first sample demos
November 10 - NFL select sample demos / offer notes and start fine tuning process
November 15 - Selected sample demo announced to 1500 SA Student / Alumni
November 20 - Ready to air
