NFL x 1500 Sound Academy
NFL Creative Content Group Producer, Osahon Tongo, is excited to be working with 1500 Sound Academy again this year. Last year we were able to make the closing song for See It Through, For this project we have a similar task. Creating a closing song for this piece called “Memphis Made”.
SUMMARY
Dallas Cowboys running back, Tony Pollard, is a proud Memphian, born and raised. Tony owes a lot of his success on the field to the work ethic he learned from his father who started Pollard's BBQ right off Elvis Presley Blvd, in the heart of Memphis. Just like a BBQ pit that takes years of grease and fire to get seasoned, Tony Pollard is right and ready to take the next step in his career to be the star of the Dallas Cowboys backfield. While his friends and family are Memphis Jookin’ on Beale Street he’ll be high stepping into endzones on Sundays.
GOAL
We want to create a final song to end this piece that fits the vibe of Memphis. The song we played on set was: Crunk Ain't Dead . The finale will be something we want to blow out of the water and get people hype! The feel is inspirational and exciting with a dash of crunk that accents the ticking, and the fluid movements of Jookin’.

Collaborations outside of the 1500 Sound Academy Students and/or Alumni will be disqualified.
BUDGET & TERMS
This will be a gratis license where the composers retain ownership and all rights to compositions. Submissions received in the provided form will be reviewed and delivered to NFL by 1500 Sound Academy.
TIMING
September 8 - 1500 SA Student / Alumni sample demo submission deadline
September 12 - NFL select sample demos / offer notes and start fine tuning process
September 13 - Selected sample demo announced to 1500 SA Student / Alumni
September 14-20 - Submission to NFL final track deadline
September 24 - Premier of NFL Network feature – MEMPHIS MADE
